DESCRIPTION:

Wonderful day of excursion leaving from Puerto Deseado, traveling 120 km of Patagonian steppe to reach Estancia Cerro del Paso, they welcome us with a delicious homemade country breakfast. After touring the ranch's hull, the adventure begins towards the site where Charles Darwin camped during Christmas 1833 together with the Beagle expedition commanded by Fitz Roy. An amazing landscape surrounds us and we submerge ourselves in this rocky crevice in the middle of the most remote steppe, where the sea enters more than 40 km inland through the Ría Deseado.  Canyons, viewpoints more than 60 meters high, caves with cave paintings and rock formations that awaken our imagination, we walk mingling with the local fauna that studies us carefully as we study it, these are some of the experiences we will have before Returning to the ranch house to enjoy a gourmet lunch. After lunch we continue along the ravine to the estuary, where, in the 1920s, there was a pier, from where the wool production from the ranches in the area was sent by boat, which arrived in carts, in journeys that lasted several weeks. We will learn details of the history of the ranch and the characters who passed through it and who were part of Rebel Patagonia.
