DESCRIPTION:

It´s a two to two and a half hour excursion. It has departures in the morning at 10:00 a.m., or in the afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

As soon as we boarded we began to observe marine birds.

We head towards the mouth of the estuary, where, depending on the moment of the tide, it is the area where the Tonina Overa dolphins feed.

Although we can observe them in different areas within the estuary, here, without disembarking, we observe one of the colonies of Magellanic penguins that nest in the estuary, the one on Chaffers Island,From here we head towards the interior of the estuary, to first observe two colonies of Cormorants on Elena Island, Gray Cormorant and Rock Cormorant, we remain in this ravine for approximately 20 minutes, then after a few minutes of navigation, we arrive at a reproductive colony of sea lions of a hair, where we observe, in the reproductive season, females, males and pups and if we are lucky we will be able to witness the birth of a pup; Now we go to Isla de los Pajaros, here we disembark, we take a short walk bordering the vegetation, without entering it, where the Magellan penguins nests are located, we settle somewhere on the beach, surrounded by penguins and we share a snack: Tea, Coffee, Mate, Chocolate Milk, homemade pudding.

After the established time, we start the return

DIVERSITY:

The Deseado estuary was declared a Nature Reserve due to the high concentration of marine birds found in it. At its mouth, depending on the time of the tide, is the area where the bottlenose dolphins feed. The impressive rocky landscape that contrasts with turquoise water, and the large number of fauna makes us feel like we are in a National Geographic documentary. From the boat you will visit Chaffers Island, where one of the Magellan penguin colonies nests, Elena Island where there are two colonies of Cormorants, Gray Cormorant and Rock Cormorant, Long Island that contains a reproductive colony of sea lions a hair. Landing on Isla de los Pájaros, to take a short walk bordering the vegetation, where the Magellan penguins nests are located.  Return.
